No-till experiment - 2nd season

First crop in no-till didn't succeed, it was taken over by weeds. Hence planning to grow pureria for 6-7 months to control weeds. This enriches soil also, and rice cultivation should be possible. After cutting weeds, some pureria plants were transplanted. It would take 3 days effort to cut this field.

This 0.1 acre field is cut using Scythe, took around 9 hours spread across 3 days. This grass is very tough and at some point it is like a mat, you have to cut in which direction the grass is slanting and also with reduced width. One scythe cut should finish that instant and you should move on, otherwise it never gets completed.

Transplanted Pureria plants which was raised in a flower pot.
